Today was hot riding in, much hotter and I won't be able to ride due to being in a heavy sweat coming into work.

AM: 6.5 Miles in 23 Min (16.7 MPH according to bike)
PM: 6.25 Miles in about 20 min (18.1 PMH)
After yesterday's ride the driveway grate where I cross Route 1 was a little dangerous as my wheel would easily fit in the grate which would send me into traffic. I updated to take a longer route to a light where I can cross.
Last night I also think I figured out a way I can run home once a week once my Tri is over.

Well after a week with my car in the shop I finally gave riding to work a try. I found a way in to work that doesn't force me into a massive sweat. Hopefully this will hold true as it gets hot out this summer since I am enjoying the ride. Best of all it only takes me about 5 extra minutes to ride versus drive.

Father's Day Bike Ride 120617
As we have the last few years my dad and I rode together today. I rode 21 miles down to his house and then another 14 with him. I was able to average 19 on the way there and 17 overall. Great ride and god final warm up for next weekend.

Ran 4.25 miles this morning at 7:40 pace. Felt good and was glad to stretch my legs.
